Mission Statement

We believe veterinary medicine is our calling.

We believe it is our obligation to perform any and all procedures our patients need with conscientiousness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and watchful attention to detail.

We believe our patients should receive their care from a highly trained staff equipped with the latest technology.

We believe we are ethically bound to relieve animal suffering, to strengthen the human-animal bond, and to be an advocate for those creatures who do not have a voice of their own.

Personal Philosophy

My vision has always been to help animals and the people who love them. Animals are amazing, as anyone who has ever loved an animal could tell you. Time and time again we see the power of an animal to mend a life needing repair or to provide companionship to the lonely. By their very existence, animals teach us volumes about love, trust, respect, tenacity, humor, and determination.

Those who love animals share a bond. We know what it is to be healed by an animal, to look deep into those warm eyes and to see reflected images of unconditional love and acceptance. I am continually amazed by the connection I make with people from all parts of the world when I mention that I am a veterinarian. People are so eager to speak about their beloved animals friends! There is no doubt that to care for animals is also to care for the people who love them. I believe this is my lifešs purpose. I look forward to building long-term relationships with clients and neighbors over the years to come as we care for animals together.

Building Boyds Creek Animal Hospital is a leap of faith. It has taken large amounts of prayer, determination, and encouragement to reach this point. It continues to be an adventure unlike any other I have every experienced. I hope people who come to Boyds Creek Animal Hospital will recognize it as unique among veterinary hospitals for a few simple reasons: Boyds Creek Animal Hospital is a place for people who have a heart for animals. It is a place filled with passion for life and for all that is good and joyful in the world. Above all, I hope people who visit here will leave with the reassurance that our world is still a place where patience and kindness do make a difference.
