RUN MID EUROPE
The competition takes place in five European countries between 5th and 9th August 2018. Racers run one marathon course in one of the five countries each of the five consecutive days.
The racer with the quickest sum of times of all five races becomes the winner. Aid on the course is only allowed at the determined stations. There is the INDIVIDUAL category for men and women regardless of age.
Partners in the COUPLE category may only take turns between complete marathons. Each team member must complete at least one full marathon. The last 5th marathon, they must run together where the time of slower one is decisive. The couple with the quickest sum of times of five marathons wins.
COUPLE/2 is a special subcategory. First 4 marathons runners split the race – each of them runs 1/2 marathon. The last 5th marathon, they must run together where the time of slower one is decisive. The couple with the quickest sum of times of five marathons wins. Prize money is not allocated in this subcategory.
TEAM category is intended for business competition and all other types of teams of 4 people. Each team member runs one marathon, the last 5th marathon they must run together where the time of the slowest member is decisive. The team with the quickest sum of times of five marathons wins.
TEAM/4 is special subcategory on the relay-race principle. First 4 marathons runners split the race into 4 parts – each of them runs 1/4. The last 5th marathon, they must run together where the time of the slowest member is decisive. The team with the fastest sum of times wins. Prize money is not allocated in this subcategory.
The maximum total number of participants for RUN MID EUROPE 2018 is limited to 150.
The entry fee covers accommodation for all racers from Saturday 4th August 2018 to Friday 10th August 2018.

Due Dates: in two instalments
The first instalment of EUR 555.55 is a prerequisite for valid registration and is due no later than within 20 days after applying. This payment is non-refundable and serves as a cancellation fee if you cancel your participation. The second instalment is due within 50 days since applying, but no later than on 30 June 2018 (this instalment may be refunded in the event of serious reasons for cancellation, such as illness or injury, or serious family emergency)
The entry fee is transferable between the participants if they apply for the transfer jointly (the handling fee and administrative costs of EUR 100 will be charged in this case).
The due date for the entry fee will be included in the instructions you will receive by e-mail after registering and filling in the participant’s form.
Anyone can become a volunteer to help organize the races and provide support from paperwork to course safety. All accommodation, transportation, board and a daily fee of EUR 30 as pocket money will be paid to all volunteers during the whole event term. The work is suitable for student athletes. Two days of volunteer work is the minimum. Knowledge of foreign languages is welcome, English is a must. We expect your help between 3rd August and 11th August 2018.
Fifteen per cent of the total collected entry fees in the given category will be awarded in all four categories (Women, Men, Team and Couples) if the said category has at least 15 participants.
The prize money will be divided as follows: the winner of the category will receive 6%, the second 3.5%, the third 2.5% and the fourth in the finish will receive 2%.
If the winner breaks the latest world record in the given category, they will receive 1%. If the world record is not broken in the given category and the given year, the current world record holder will receive 1%, even if they do not participate in the event in that year. The actual amounts of prize money will be released seven days prior to the event after the start list in each category is closed.
